Cultural Competence Training

Cultural Competence is a set of values, behaviors, attitudes and practices that enable individuals to work effectively with others from different cultures and traditions. Facilitated by Michelle Johnson, a faculty member of the Department of Education of Washington College, this session will enable participants to examine their own attitudes and values. They will also learn ways to honor and respect the beliefs, language, interpersonal styles and behaviors of individuals with different backgrounds.
