This session features 1884: The Hidden History of Haiti. This documentary film is by Tariq Nasheed, the producer of the #1 selling African history documentary series, Hidden Colors. This film addresses the untold history of Haiti and the Haitian revolution, which was the most successful slave rebellion in history. Nasheed and his supporters believe that this story should be shared throughout the world. The preservation of the Haitian people is a source of inspiration to all repressed peoples. The film also explores the state of Haiti today and the causes of its current economic challenges.
